Main Street Christmas Lights

A commercial lighting company, built out of an existing one

Main Street Christmas Lights is a commercial holiday lighting company serving properties across Dallas Fort Worth and a 50 mile radius. It is a new brand from the established team behind Lone Star Irrigation.

The name

Why Main Street

The picture in the name is a specific one: a historic downtown in December, the storefront windows lit, garland on the lamppost, a red bow on the bracket. Not a light show. Not an inflatable. A street that looks like it has been doing this for a hundred years.

That is the standard we design to, whether the property is a nineteenth century block downtown or a development that opened last year. Classic reads as permanent, and permanent reads as trustworthy, which is exactly what a commercial property wants its December to say.

It also sets a limit we hold to. There is a version of this industry built on novelty: bigger, brighter, more animated every year. We are not in that business. The properties we work with are trying to look established, not loud.

Tradition Shines Here.

The philosophy

Designed, not decorated

Decorating is putting lights on a building. Design is deciding which lines the building already has and lighting those.

In practice that means we walk the property after dark before we quote anything, because the elevations that matter at night are not always the ones that matter at noon. A roofline that reads beautifully from the road may be invisible from the entrance where people actually arrive.

It also means we say no to things. A property does not need every surface lit. Restraint is what separates a scheme that looks designed from one that looks like a budget was spent.

The result should read as though the building was always meant to look like this in December, and that nobody had to work very hard to achieve it. That takes considerably more planning than the alternative.

The team behind it

Not a seasonal startup

The hardest question a new lighting brand has to answer is whether it will still exist in February. Seasonal companies appear in September and disappear in January, which is why property managers ask about insurance, service response and storage before they ask about design.

Main Street Christmas Lights is a new brand, but the company behind it is not new. The crews, equipment, scheduling systems and safety training come from Lone Star Irrigation, an established outdoor services company working the same metroplex year round.

What that means practically: the crews on your roof in November are the same people who work these properties the rest of the year. The scheduling that gets a truck to you in December is the scheduling that already runs a full service calendar. The warehouse storing your display in February is a warehouse that was already there.

We started this brand because commercial Christmas lighting in DFW was being sold by companies that vanish, and because the infrastructure to do it properly was already sitting in our yard.

How we work

Safety, insurance and method

Work at height

Crews are safety trained for elevated work and follow a fall protection protocol on every roof and lift job.

Insurance

The company carries commercial general liability insurance. We provide a current certificate for your property file before work is scheduled.

No-puncture mounting

Nothing is nailed, screwed or stapled into the building envelope. Clips are matched to the roof and gutter profile.

In-season response

Service through December is part of the agreement, not an add-on. A dark section is our problem to fix.

Who we serve

Commercial and municipal only

There is no residential side to this business. Our materials, crews and scheduling are built for properties that stay open.

Dallas and Fort Worth are not a primary and a secondary market here. See Dallas and Fort Worth for how we work in each.

Start with a walkthrough

We look at the property after dark, talk through what December needs to accomplish, and come back with a design and a number.
